Well it's been awhile.
I guess I've lost all creative swagger... I completely run out of things that I feel people think are important.
But, this. This is pretty important.
Trinidad.
3 weeks ago my senior class and I came home from a week long mission trip in Trinidad. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had in my entire life. We were there for 7 days and each day we would get to do construction in the morning (brutal) relax in the afternoon by the pool (heavenly) in the late afternoon hang out with little kids from around Trinidad (a blessing) at night, bond with our class (bomb).
I cannot even put into words the way I felt and still feel about my trip. I feel completely blessed and humbled that 1. I got to be apart of such an amazing experience with my classmates whom I see every day and sometimes don't even take the time to say hi in the hallway. I loved being able to get to know everyone in our class on a deeper level and break out of my comfort zone. Sometimes, I just don't appreciate what I've got or realize that it's not always, always about me. Here are a couple pics from the trip.. oopsie.. they're out of order.

so, basketball.

so, as of last friday night, our high school basketball team lost in the sub- state tournament :(
me, my friends: court allie and mo are all managers of the boys bball team and were all really excited about going to state.. but we played a tough team friday night and lost :( so sad. this also means that we have to go down one day late to Trinidad because of the tickets we had arranged thinking wed make it to state.

Next, Kirbz bballin. Alright, so earlier in the blog Megan posted about our dear friend Kirby. Kirby is the sweetest girl ever, and we all love her to death, she invited us to her basketball games the other weekend and it was just a riot. we loved watching kirb ball it up and have a blast. afterwards we took her out to lunch (maybe her favorite thing to do) and just laughed and talked. here are a couple of pictures::

crazy.. but 16 days until we're off to TRINIDAD!!

i hope everyone is getting their hearts prepared and getting excited to spend time with our class! 

i can't believe it, we get to serve, grow, worship and together.. best spring break ever :)

i hope while were there we will be able to grown our friendships deeper, and fall in love with God more as we serve.

Secondly, college, yikes! i can't believe the days are slowly counting down until graduation, summer, college! I am so excited to spend the rest of this year together through summer. And i'm so excited that everyone is almost set on where their going to college. I know that I am so excited for the LInk Year, and am preparing my heart everyday. I pray for all of my friends too, that each and every day they grow closer to the Lord and get excited more and more excited for college!

so, a little obsessed with clue fx.

hello all..
well i was doing good with the posts.. anddd then i slacked off.
but, heres an update.
recently, in the month of january, we have not had one full week of school due to: holidays, winter break, etc, & SNOW DAYS. OH YEAHH!!!
so, on these 25346534580987654 snow days we had, we became obsessed with the game Clue FX. Now this is no normal clue game with miss. scarlet & colonel mustard, this game talks.
we were enthralled so to speak.
now with allie as lord gray, court dog as princess peach, munyan as lady lavender, and i as prince azure, we rocked this game.. playing multiple rounds!!
what can we say... WE ARE OBSESSED.
we discussed the different ways in which we could bring clue fx and play it at school.. maybe on the plane to trinidad.. maybe in trinidad.
so, to sum it up we love clue fx.

although we did play clue for hours on end, we ate bo lings (the bomb chinese), watched our favorite show... CRIMINAL MINDS... and now teen mom, hot tubbed, and hung out with our friends.

so, mmm muscle gain crunch.

so here it is.
now that were all happy fat and full.
heres the recipe to that delicious yummy snackie we just had.

2 cups corn chex
2 cups rice chex
2 cups wheat chex
2 cups quaker oat squares (preferably brown sugar kind)
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup honey chopped almonds (i used the sliced ones you put on salads)
1 cup craisens
1 cup vanilla ADVOCARE muscle gain. OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(toss all together in a BIG bowl until well covered with muscle gain)
melt 1/2 cup smart balance butter & 1 cup honey or aguave nector and pour over mix and coat well.
throw onto a pam sprayed pan and bake at 325* for 30 minutes... STIRRING EVERY 10 MINUTES until coconut is browned.

so yum.

hello blog world.
as im sitting here watching extreme home makeover, i decided it's time for me to start blogging more often.
i keep looking out my window (because its open) becuase its 12321124million degrees in my room thinking that next year that wont be the view out my window..
i wont be able to just call my friends and tell them that i want to hang out NOW.
weird..
well. school starts tomorrow, last semester. omgsh!
i can't wait actually... i love school!
im excited to see where this last semester leads.

this year starting as of januar 1st, i'm doing a program called OWNit365 along with my church where i am going to read through the bible this year. and i'm so excited. i'm excited to grow and learn and prosper in my relationship with the Lord.

so, hello 2011.

omgsh.. its two thousand eleven..
it's our graduating year.. that is so weird, i remember in elementary school when you'd type your login and your password would be your graduating year and it felt like that would never come.
but we're excited and could not be more thrilled to spend that last months together as seniors where we're ALWAYS together.
